What we collect
When you open an account we collect your email address, a password we store only as a salted hash, your phone number, and your business or billing address including country. When you use the site we record the IP address of sign-in attempts and orders, the time of your last activity, and the IMEI or serial numbers you submit along with the result returned.
Why we collect it
- Running your account. Email and password identify you; your balance and order history let you see what you bought and what it cost.
- Fulfilling orders. The IMEI or serial you submit is sent to the supplier that performs the check or unlock. It has to be, or there is no result.
- Fraud and abuse. Sign-in IP addresses and failed-attempt counts let us lock an account under attack and let you see where your account has been used.
- Contacting you. Order confirmations, balance changes and account notices go to your email address. You can turn off the optional ones in Preferences.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum needed with the parties who make the service work: our device-data suppliers receive the IMEI or serial you submit; Stripe and PayPal receive what they need to take payment; our email provider receives your address to deliver notices. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We will disclose information where the law requires it, or in response to a valid request from law enforcement or a carrier investigating a device reported lost or stolen.
Payment details
Card numbers never touch our servers. Stripe and PayPal handle payment and return only a reference and the result. We store the amount, the date and the last reference so your history and receipts make sense.
How long we keep it
Account records and order history are kept while your account is open and for as long afterwards as we need them for tax, accounting and dispute purposes. Sign-in records are kept on a rolling basis for security review. An account with no activity for 180 days is suspended automatically; you can ask us to close and delete an account at any time.
Your choices
You can see and correct your details in your account, turn off optional emails in Preferences, and turn on two-factor authentication for extra protection. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, write to us through the contact form or at ypsirepair@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, and we honour those requests.
Cookies
We set one cookie of our own, which holds your sign-in session. There are no advertising cookies on this site and we do not sell or share anything for advertising.
We do use Microsoft Clarity on the public pages to see how the site is actually used: which pages people read, where they hesitate, where a form goes wrong. Clarity records page interactions and sets its own cookies to do so. It is not used on the account or admin pages, so your balance, order history and address are never part of a recording. Microsoft processes that data under its own privacy terms, and you can opt out with any standard browser tracking protection or a Do Not Track setting.
Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never in readable form. The site is served over HTTPS. Two-factor authentication is available on every account and we recommend it for anyone holding a balance.
Children
This is a trade service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
