Who we are
IMEI.repair is a registered business name in the State of Michigan, United States. Where these terms say "we" or "us", they mean IMEI.repair.
We sell device status reports and factory carrier unlocks, sourced from third-party databases and carrier systems, to phone shops, refurbishers and resellers.

Accounts
You must hold an account to place an order. You agree to give accurate details at signup, to confirm your email address, and to keep your password to yourself. Business accounts are reviewed before they are approved and we may decline or close an account at our discretion. You are responsible for orders placed from your account.
What we sell, and what we do not promise
The reports we sell come from third-party and carrier databases. We pass on what those sources return. We do not warrant that a source is complete, current or free of error, and a report describes a device's status at the moment of the lookup only. A clean result today does not prevent a device being reported lost or stolen tomorrow.
Factory unlock services are fulfilled by carriers and their partners. Delivery windows shown on the site are estimates given to us by those suppliers, not guarantees. Some devices are not eligible for unlocking, for reasons including unpaid balances, contract terms, or a lost or stolen report, and eligibility is not always visible before an order is placed.
Acceptable use
You may not use our services to check or unlock a device you do not own or are not authorised to handle, to assist in the sale of stolen property, or to breach any law that applies to you. We cooperate with lawful requests from carriers and law enforcement. Automated scraping, resale of raw access, and attempts to circumvent rate limits or the approval process are prohibited.
Prices, credit and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and can change as our suppliers change theirs. The price shown at the time you order is the price you pay. Business accounts run on a prepaid balance; credit added to a balance is for use on this site, does not earn interest, and is not a deposit. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, and we never see or store your full card details.
Refunds

Availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Suppliers go down, and when they do the affected services are unavailable until they return.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or the value of a device bought or sold in reliance on a report.
Changes
We may amend these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
